Our History

In 2011, NaviHealth acquired SeniorMetrix, a leading post-acute care manager with 12 years of experience managing over 10% of the Medicare Advantage population in post-acute settings.  SeniorMetrix utilizes a functional assessment technology to project therapy regimens, most appropriate care settings, and the timing of expected outcomes.  The technology draws from a database of nearly one million patient outcomes in the post-acute setting.  NaviHealth was created by two healthcare industry leaders, Select Medical and Universal American, along with the industry’s most active investment group, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.
