Tom Scully is a General Partner, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), a NYC Private Equity Firm and Senior Counsel, Alston & Bird, Washington, DC. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Scully served as the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Scully served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of American Hospitals, representing 1,700 privately owned and managed hospitals. He also held health policy positions in the White House from 1989 to 1993 for President George H. W. Bush.
Stephen L. Guillard most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors of HCR ManorCare, a Toledo, Ohio-based healthcare company. Prior to joining HCR ManorCare, Mr. Guillard was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Harborside Healthcare, a Boston-based post-acute services firm from 1988 to 2005. Prior to his tenure at Harborside Healthcare, Mr. Guillard was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Diversified Health Services in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Thomas Buckingham serves as Executive Vice President of Strategy for Select Medical's 110 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospitals and nine rehabilitation hospitals, which includes the prestigious Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in New Jersey. Previously, Mr. Buckingham served as a President of the company's LTAC hospital division and was responsible for the division's overall clinical, operational and financial performance.
Sean M. Traynor is a General Partner, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), having joined WCAS in 1999. Before joining WCAS, he worked in the healthcare and insurance investment banking groups at BT Alex. Brown.
David J. Caluori is a Vice President at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), having joined WCAS in 2005. Before joining WCAS, Mr. Caluori worked in the investment banking divisions of Jefferies & Co. and Piper Jaffray.
Matthew W. Etheridge is currently a private investor, and was formerly a Managing Partner of Perry Capital LLC, a private investment management firm, where he was co-head of the firm's healthcare group. Prior to joining Perry Capital in 2001, Mr. Etheridge was an investment analyst for Stanford Management Company, which manages Stanford University's endowment. Prior to joining Stanford Management in 1997, Mr. Etheridge was a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
